It is only by bringing fundamental changes into the educational system of today that we can make education an effective instrument of global reconstruction, rehabilitation and an individual’s all-around development. Ironically, one of the biggest factors contributing to this slow erosion of values over time is the technological revolution we see in the field of information technology. While it has made a tremendous impact on the field of education at all levels, it has posed serious problems to the system as well. What we did not foresee is the total paradigm shift this has resulted in - with regard to the role of the teacher, the method of teaching and the character of the educational institutions. |

To adapt the new advances in technology to our needs and conditions - without allowing it to disturb our cultural systems, values and identity - is a matter which deserves utmost consideration. In such a scenario, the availability of a truly integrated and effective educational platform that utilizes the technological tools and infrastructure available today, yet blends within its operations the core value systems of society, is the answer. This is what will help serve as the roadmap for all our future development, across all nations and across all societies. |
