Challenges Universities Face

| MUES® is an integrated application designed to cater to all the conceivable academic and administrative requirements of Universities, covered in 75 modules on a single integrated platform - with each module having several sub modules, with different versions for General, Technical, Agricultural and Medical Universities. The application has over 800 screens, over 1000 reports and is customized to each institution’s specific operating environment, aspirations, policies and practices. |

For Management
MUES® is an electronic blueprint of the University, having inbuilt work flows and processes which are uniquely customizable to each University based on its business rules and practices. It specifically provides for elaborate functioning requirements of key managements entities, namely Vice-Chancellor’s Office, Registrar’s Office, giving them real-time access and facilitating their smooth functioning.
For University Management, MUES® optimizes the output of resources to help achieve academic excellence. Its inbuilt exhaustive HRM, Finance, Fee, Transport, TOM modules on an integrated platform direct management thinking on how to get optimal return on University resources to achieve academic excellence. Additionally through CNS (its intelligence creating Central Nervous System), comprising of MIS, Dynamic Querying System and Alerts System, the Management is indeed completely enabled to have full analysis and support for any decision-making. The MUES is completely compliant to the regulatory requirements of controlling bodies like UGC, AICTE, State /Central Governments as also other statutes like Income Tax etc.
The Management/General Administration has exhaustive modules catering to each and every requirement, including VC’s Office, Registrar’s Office, PRO, Legal, Affiliation, Contracts, BCUD, Inventory, Purchase, IOM, Security, Sanitation, Funds, Strikes, the University Calendar etc. Each one of these has detailed workflow with respective functionalities and specific requirements of the institution. For Students
Students are the recipients of education and, therefore, in that sense are the most valuable elements on which the University functions. Students also make for the real vibrancy of an institution depending on the quality of tradition and image of the institution. There is little or nothing that the University incorporates in its system from the student apart from the fees and charges. There is far more that students can do and contribute.
Similarly, students can benefit immensely from the system, which provides access to students records such as academic, fee, transport, medical, etc. The system also tracks participation of students and their achievements. The system monitors growth and areas of potential or development in non-academic areas like sports, music, dance, debates, quizzing, theatre, etc. In short, MUES® is a sine qua non for the student.
The Students Information System is indeed vast, covering each and every aspect of the activities pertaining to a student. Admission covers Advertisements, Pre-Admission, Registration, Quota, Eligibility and Migration. The Examination part details Rules, Scheduling, Conducting Exams, Evaluation, Re-evaluation etc. These can be provided as per different systems. There is an elaborate provision for Lesson Planning, Batch Creation, Time Table and Faculty Schedules. Fees Section module covers Payments, Refund, Withdrawal etc. The Scholarship module provides for Agencies, Disbursement etc. including posting in Finance. The Attendance module includes attendance, leave etc. |

For Faculty
MUES® is a great offering for faculty; it tracks students’ progress and helps analyze data. It is an effective tool to monitor academic problem areas and take remedial measures. The students’ academic growth can be monitored graphically.
Further, it creates a faculty’s own world, where each one has access to his or her academic/administrative requirements including research projects, assignments, grants etc. through the system. Indeed, the Profiling faculty becomes a seamless part as the university as MUES® makes communication through its inbuilt intranet easy.
The Faculty Information System is supported by a vast Human Resources Management module, which provides for complete Planning, Recruitment, Retention and Development of Human Resources. The Payroll section module provides Scale creation, Payroll, Posting, Bonus, Loans, Reimbursement etc. The Time Office Management provides for Integrated Attendance, In & Out Register, Leave Management/Encashment, Shift Allocation, Transaction, etc. Other modules include for Committees, Visits, Election, and Health and even for Contracts, Appointment, etc. |

For Alumni
MUES® also tracks alumni, a very powerful constituent of the college and the campus. An Alumnus’ contribution is rarely networked in the university resource pool. | Financial Management |
| This part of the integrated application provides for Budgeting, starting with Budget Master, Proposal, Allocation, and Disbursement. “Grants” module provides Agency Master proposal, Funds Allocation and Utilization and Reporting. The detailed Financial Accounting System has provision for Vouchers, Chart of Accounts, Bank Guarantee etc. Also, it has full provision for Assets Accounting as also for accounting Tax compliance and so on. |

Library and Hostel and other facilities have detailed and specific modules as part of the integrated platform. Their interesting linkages with other modules ensure automatic flow of information.
