MGRM Net, Bell ID Announce e-Governance JV

India's e-governance technology firm MGRM Net has formed a JV with Netherlands based firm Bell ID. Bell ID specializes in smart card management
solution.
Bell ID has considerable expertise in managing ID programs in diverse geographies, while MGRM Net has developed and deployed applications using its proprietary online multi-domain value card OmVcard.
The 50:50 JV will address opportunities in e-governance and identity management, according to a press release.
Bell ID has experience in managing portfolio of international customers in many key markets, while MGRM offers research-based integrated e-governance platforms, said KVR Murthy of MGRM Net.
MGRM Net and Bell ID will equip the proposed JV with their product IPRs, applications and requisite skills to play a dominant role in this emerging space in India. The JV is expected to become operational in the next quarter.
