MGRM Medicare has grouped splints into four types for physical rehabilitation. These cover needs during the Preventive, Pre-Treatment, Treatment and Post-Treatment stages. They are:

The four categories of splints provide support for physical rehabilitation to any part of the body, from Head to Toe. Accordingly, MGRM Medicare has splints for the following region: Cervical, Shoulder, arm and clavicle, Wrist and forearm, Chest and rib, Back, Abdomen, Knee, Ankle, Finger, Emergency, Foot, Conditioning, Ambulation, Ankle and Foot.

Each of the above is a category of products, within which multiple products are available to support the rehabilitation needs of individuals who fall under the various stages of the human life cycle, namely:

For example, the expanded list of cervical splints is meant to be used for the neonatal stage. A separate range of products with varying design criteria and raw material specifications has been created for the other stages of the human life cycle and for other body regions.
